The AJ’s Method

How a project actually runs.

Six steps, in order, every time. You always know what’s happening, what we need from you, and what comes next.

06

What you can expect from working with us

  • Direct contact with the people doing the work
  • Honest advice, even when it costs us the upsell
  • Fixed scope, agreed before anything starts
  • A website you own, on a platform you’re never locked into

01

Understand

Every project begins with the business, not the website. We learn what you do, who your customers are, what they ask for and where the current website loses them. We also look at your competitors, not to copy them, but to make sure you don't have to.

02

Position

Most websites don't fail on looks; they fail on message. Before designing anything, we agree what the website needs to say: what makes your business the right choice, and the clearest way to prove it. This step is why the finished site feels like it was written for you, because it was.

03

Structure

We map the pages and the customer journey: which page someone lands on, what they need to believe, and what they should do next. Structure is decided on paper where it's cheap to change, so nothing expensive is built on guesswork.

04

Create

Design and development happen together, by the same small team. The design is custom, with no theme and no drag-and-drop compromise, and the build is hand-coded to be fast, accessible and search-friendly. You see progress at every stage and feedback is built into the rhythm, not rationed.

05

Refine

Before launch we test on real devices, read the copy out loud, and remove every piece of friction we can find: a slow image, an unclear label, one click too many. This quiet phase is where a good website becomes a finished one.

06

Launch

Launch is measured, not magical: redirects checked, forms tested, search consoles verified. Then the real work starts. We watch how the site performs against the goals we set at step one, and keep improving it. Websites are assets; we treat them that way.
